How to prepare for a KA: Kundalini Activation Session

To get the most out of your Kundalini Activation Session there are a couple of things you can do and a couple of things you can best not do to prepare for a session.


First of all, people often wonder is they need to do any mental preparation or any special practices to come to a session.





The answer is:

No, you don't have to prepare in that way.

That being said; in activation sessions we work with a state of surrender and deep relaxation, therefor it can surely help, in the day(s) before, to take some time for yourself to just relaxt and slow down.

Or to do some (yin) yoga, relaxing breath work or meditation.


If you are about to experience your first activation session; I know it can be exciting.

Do feel free to reach out if you have any questions concerning the up coming session.


Here are some essentials for the session:


  • It is advised NOT to consume any alcohol, use drugs or plant medicine at least 24 hours before the session. These substances can interfere or make you less sensitive for the energy

  • Make sure to drink enough water n the days before a session. Energy flows better through a well-hydraded body

  • Eat lightly or a couple of hours before the session. If Fasting is your thing, that can be great too. But don't force it, it's important you can still relax.

  • Make sure the wear easy fitting clothing. Preferably not too tight. Also natural materials can be nice

  • Wearing Layers is advised so that you can adjust to the temperature when you feel warm or cold (we keep the room warm, but in a session any sensation can happen)

  • Heavy perfumes are not preferred. In groups there are regularly people who are allergic to perfume like smells

  • If you like to wear (eye) make-up, it can be a good idea to use a waterproof variation as people regular experience emotional releases during sessions 😉.


Materials and what to bring

  • Mats and materials are available in most studio's. If not you will be noted in advanced to bring your own mat.

  • If you prefer to bring your own mat and/ or blanked feel very welcome to.

  • If you like, you can bring a bottle of water.


Arrivals

Please be welcome at the location from 15 minutes before the start of the session.

We like to start the session on time out of respect for everyones time.

It's always a good idea to check travel schedules, traffic and parking options in advanced.
