The soundscape used in my KA sessions are not just a random list of songs or a copy past of the regular.
I spend a lot of time and refinement in list-composing into the sounds scapes I use during sessions. Tuning in on the group, the time and space and the energy
A question often asked is:
What is the function of the music?
Let's start with a related question that often comes up:
Is the Activation experience triggered by the music?
The answer is 'No but…'
First the No;
The energy resonance (what others call a transmission) happens without music. There is no music needed.
Recently I stopped using music with the demo’s at the start of group sessions.
In fact when I work with my InnerWork Mentoring clients we regularly don’t use any music when going into the Activation/ Energetic work. And for many who experience a session in silence it’s like a next level of liberation and freedom.
So then the 'BUT...';
Because why, would we use music if it is not needed?
A Soundscape is often a great layer in supporting the body-mind system to open up to those more subtle experiences. (just like the physical touch (but that is for another piece of writing)
Us humans, we are multi layered beings
Or if you like the more spiritual term: Multi dimensional beings.
Music helps the emotional layer to resonate with the different (often suppressed) feelings within.
Music helps to engage the cognitive mind away from it’s regular thinking patterns
And the way I layer and structure the soundscapes for my sessions, stimulates brainwave parters to allow you more easily through different sleep-like states WHILE CONSCIOUSLY AWAKE.
The beautiful complexity of these processes go way deeper and more extensive then the simple explanation above. However for going into that would be more something for deep studies instead of a supportive article 😉
So there you have it.
The magic of music and the role the playlist plays in KA Kundalini Activation sessions.
